Waiting On Wednesday (Nov. 9th)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Some weeks when I get ready to do one of these posts I sigh. I know I'm showing you a book that you've likely seen a hundred times before. I know I am being boring. Because I know my favorite part of Waiting on Wednesday is when I discover a book that is so fabulous that I'm bouncing up and down in my chair from excitement even if I don't have my iPod on.

Well, this week is not going to be boring. This week I have a book to show you that I just discovered on someone's blog ... oh ... five minutes ago? And here's the kicker... I'm going to tell you how you can have a chance to win it! (What kind of friend would I be if I kept that to myself?)

Why Do I Want It?: 

Okay, let's see... First up: there is nothing more terrifying then a plague / virus. Nothing. It can't be reasoned with, pleaded with or bribed. It doesn't pick favorites, it doesn't know fear. It doesn't stop. 

Then there is the fact that this sounds like it is going to have a survival vibe to it. How is our heroine going to get through this mess? How will she cope with losing loved ones? How will she keep her sanity in tact, her hopes alive, when she is trapped in what is essentially a living nightmare? How will she keep going knowing that she could be next? 

Last up, there is this whole teaming up with a rival and discovering love. Whoever wrote this summary just said a whole lotta magic words right there. Let's break this down again, shall we? Rivals working together = people having to move past previous issues = conflict = interesting. And then we also get to see our heroine falling in love in the midst of total, absolute and utter disaster. Sign. Me. Up. 

Yeah, I am very eager to read this. Can you tell?
